Resumo: | The Atlantic Forest stands out for biological diversity, the high number of endangered species and the high rates of deforestation. This biodiversity confers greater complexity and stability in communities, which are related to species richness, connectivity, interaction strength, equitability and resilience that will lead to the ecological balance of the remnants. This study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the conservation armadillos in remnants of the Atlantic Forest of the State of Sergipe, around caves. For this, seven botanical expeditions were carried out in the surroundings (60 meter radius) of nine caves in areas in this biome. The inventoried material was listed and the species classified according to some categories, including those endemic to the Atlantic Forest, ecological and exotic groups. It was verified the presence of 255 species distributed in 188 genera and 70 families, of these 95 species had not been registered in previous studies. The remnants that presented the largest number of species were those located around the Vassouras Cavern (81 spp.) And the Tramandaí Cavern (64 spp.). Fabaceae (31 spp.) Was the family with the highest species richness, followed by Asteraceae (18 spp.), Poaceae (17 spp.), Euphorbiaceae and Malvaceae (14 spp. Each), Rubiaceae and Cyperaceae . There were 88% of native species, 5% of endemic species and 12% of exotic species. In relation to the ecological groups, the pioneers and the initial secondary ones stood out. Cluster analysis indicates low floristic similarity (<36%) among cave environments. Only the remnants of the Caves: House of Caboclo, Das Vespas, Brooms and Urubu shared species. Therefore, the importance of the conservation of the surroundings of Sergipan Caves is notorious in the results obtained, the floristic richness, the diversity of the groups as much by the dispersion of seeds that confers to the maintenance of the ecosystems as an ecological restoration tool. |
