Relevância e pluralidade na cobertura das eleições de 2022 pelo Jornal Nacional : uma análise da agenda dos candidatos

The work is focused on an analysis of the quality of Jornal Nacional coverage during the 2022 elections based on the requirements of Relevance and Plurality of conflicting points of view. The empirical corpus considered the content of the candidates' agendas during the period between August 17, 2022 and October 1, 2022. The methodological construction was based on the observation of patterns in the coverage, as well as by the survey of agendas, in order to build a Matrix of themes, issues and points of view. Using the Content Analysis method (Bardin), the candidates' agendas space was seen as a recurrent space for the presentation of proposals, and therefore we considered the mentions of the candidates' promises related to the themes considered most relevant by the agendas, as well as the points of view of each one. For the analysis, we used tools such as the Journalistic Agenda Guide (GAJ) and the Journalistic Production Management System (SGPJ), to extract the Reference Journalistic Relevance Factor (FRJ-R) and the Applied Journalistic Relevance Factor (FRJ-AP) of the several themes in the coverage, as well as the Journalistic Plurality Index (IPJ) among the candidates' reports about campaign proposals. With this movement, we noticed a concentration of coverage on specific themes raised by the agendas and a bias in the views related to Economy and Employment through a majority concentration of reports of a specific position.
