Reforma sanitária e Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social no âmbito da saúde : apontamentos para um debate contemporâneo

This work presents notes for the contemporary debate on the Sanitary Reform and the EthicalPolitical Project of Social Work in the field of health, with the objective of identifying how the principles of the Sanitary Reform of 1980 are related to the Ethical-Political Project of the Social Work, in the professional praxis of social workers in the health area. It is a bibliographic and documentary research with a qualitative approach. For data collection, books, scientific articles, periodicals, event annals, dissertations, among others, were used. The collection was carried out through research websites and portals such as: Google academic, website of the Federal Council of Social Service (CFESS), collection of universities/virtual libraries, Katalysis, Temporalis, Social Service and Society, Virtual Health Library (BVS). The collection was carried out by search engines for the keywords: Social Service and Sanitary Reform, Brazilian Sanitary Reform Project and Ethical-Political Social Service Project. The method for analyzing and interpreting the data was dialectical historical materialism. The results pointed to a correlation between the principles of the Sanitary Reform project of 1980 and the principles of the Ethical-political Project of Social Service, which have as main points in common: the defense of the inalienable rights of man, the public, the State Secular and democratic. Proposals articulated by the search for the construction of a more just, egalitarian society, without exploitation and domination. Therefore, they have a political-emancipatory character, which has the perspective of social transformation, the civilizing project and the struggle of a popular democratic character. Resembling the conception of the world and of man, linked to a non-capitalist societal project.
