RESUMO: O artigo pretende convidar o leitor a um breve passeio por conjuntos de pontos que permeiam reflexões acerca das problemáticas dos gêneros que formam a base da literatura ocidental, focando principalmente na linha traçada desde a essência mítica até as lacunas do romance, abrangendo os encerramentos estruturais épicos. Trata-se também de questões como as intertextualidades e construções arquetípicas em relações de verossimilhança e o elemento irônico que ganha força com o romance. Enveredando pelas perspectivas teóricas e metodológicas de autores como André Jolles, Northrop Frye e com grande foco na Teoria do Romance de Georg Lukács, o trabalho busca contemplar as diferentes posibilidades estabelecidas pela arte literária em diferentes momentos com objetivo de traduzir as realidades e individualidades como apreensão artística de uma totalidade. Georg Lukács.        ABSTRACT: The essay intends to invite the reader to a brief tour of sets of points that permeate reflections about the problematic of the genres that form the basis of Western literature, focusing mainly on the line from the mythical essence until the shortcomings of the novel, including structural closures epics. Also dealing with issues such as intertextuality and archetypal constructions of verisimilitude relations and ironic element that gains strength with romance. By embarking theoretical and methodological perspectives of authors such as André Jolles, Northrop Frye and with great focus on the Theory of the Novel by Georg Lukacs, the work seeks to contemplate the different possibilities established by the literary art at different times in order to translate the realities and individualities as seizure Art of a totality.
