MITODOLOGIA, MITOPOESIA E SUA CONTRIBUIÇÃO COM A TEORIA LITERÁRIA: MYTHODOLOGY, MYTHOPOETRY AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO LITERARY THEORY

RESUMO: Este trabalho demonstra a contribuição das teorias do mito para a teoria e crítica literárias. Conscientes de que a literatura é uma criação mitopoética e que por isto o teórico e o crítico literário necessitam também do substrato, do fundamento epistemológico da “mitodologia” no difícil processo interpretativo do objeto literáriomitopoético, consideramos o modelo da jornada do herói mítico proposto por Joseph Campbell como parâmetro da permanência dos mitos eternos em torno do qual gravita a construção de inúmeros personagens modernos com o propósito de iluminar o papel influenciador deste monomito na obra literária, para confirmar a ideia de que a Teoria da Literatura não pode e nem deve prescindir das teorias do imaginário no seu repertório metodológico. Ele segue baseado nas teorias de renomados críticos como Campbell, Mircea Eliade, E. Mielietinski, entre outros. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Mitopoesia. Mitocrítica. Teoria Literária. Herói mítico/literário.   ABSTRACT: This work demonstrates the contribution of myth theories to literary theory and criticism. Conscious of the fact that literature is a mythopoetic creation and therefore the theoretician and literary critic also need the substrate, the epistemological basis of “mythodology” in the difficult interpretative process of the mythopoetic literary object, we consider the model of the journey of the mythical hero proposed by Joseph Campbell as a parameter of the permanence of the eternal myths around which the construction of countless modern characters gravitateswith the purpose of illuminating the influential role of this monomyth in the literary work, to confirm the idea that the Theory of Literature cannot and must not do without the theories of the imaginary in its methodological repertoire. It follows based on thetheories of renowned critics such as Campbell, Mircea Eliade, Gilbert Durand, E. Mielietinski, amongst others. KEYWORDS: Mythopoetry. Mythocritics. Literary Theory.
