RESUMO: O artigo mostra a forte oposição que há entre as obras O guardador de rebanhos e O pastor amoroso, ambas de Alberto Caeiro. Assim, comparamos as duas e as confrontamos, mostrando como era Caeiro quando vivia sozinho, de forma primitiva, junto à Natureza, sentindo-se um elemento dela, e como passou a viver a partir do momento em que apareceu a figura feminina em sua vida, modificando seu modo de sentir e de olhar. Ele passa a viver de forma consciente e envolve-se com os sentimentos humanos, distanciando-se da Natureza. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Natureza. Amor. Filosofia. Vida.        ABSTRACT: The article shows that there is a strong opposition among the poems O guardador de rebanhos and O pastor amoroso, both by Alberto Caeiro. So we compared the two and confront them, showing how Caeiro was when he lived alone, in a primitive way, next to Nature, feeling an element of it, and how lived from the time it appeared the female figure in his life modifying his way of feeling, looking and living. He goes to live consciously and engages with human feelings, distancing himself from Nature. KEYWORDS: Nature. Love. Philosophy. Life.
