RESUMO: Em A manta do soldado, romance de Lídia Jorge, há a insurgência de duas vozes femininas que criticam a sociedade androcêntrica e patriarcal e a própria literatura enquanto forma de representação da realidade. Sendo um romance de autoria feminina, a primeira voz que emerge é a do autor implícito, cuja crítica se processa não apenas nos entrelaçamentos do enredo, mas, principalmente, no rompimento com o paradigma do personagem masculino por meio do engendrar da figura do filho mais velho de uma família rural e fortemente patriarcal segundo padrões aristotélicos e galênicos de concepção da mulher. A voz da narradora domina o primeiro plano da narrativa num complexo jogo discursivo em que, simultaneamente, destaca a autoridade masculina e promove o seu sombreamento, pois a sua história é estruturada sobre o que não foi dito por impedimento de convenções sociais fortemente amparadas no patriarcalismo rural. A escrita feminina, que pode ser lida como um discurso de duas vozes, uma dominante e uma silenciada, é aqui realizada no sentido de explicitar a voz silenciada, transformá- la em grito, arrancá-la das camadas inferiores do palimpsesto, figura que bem identifica o modelo da ficção produzida por mulheres. Lídia Jorge.        ABSTRACT: In A manta do soldado, Lídia Jorge’s novel, there is the arising of two female voices that criticize the patriarchal society centered around men and the literature as a way of representation of the reality. Being a novel of feminine authorship, the first voice that emerges is the one of the implicit author, whose critic is not just processed in the interlacements of the plot, but, mainly, in the breaking with the masculine character's paradigm around the construction of the eldest son of a rural family according to Aristotle and Galeno patterns of women's conception. The narrator's voice appears on the first plan of the narrative in a compound discourse that, simultaneously, detaches the masculine authority and promotes its shading, because the plot is structured on what was not said. The feminine writing, that can be read as a speech of two voices, a dominant and a silenced one, is accomplished in order to make explicit the silenced voice, to transform it in scream, highlighting it.
