RESUMO: Folhas Caídas, considerada a obra de mais perfeito e completo caráter romântico garretiano, traz um salto em relação à poesia árcade; a agilidade e simplificação na hora de compor os versos são típicos traços românticos, porém o amor tratado pelo autor se mostra em uma vivência experimentada, algo vivido e transposto aos versos, diferente do amor idealizado e sentido dos românticos. A diferenciação entre um "eu" que se mostra e um que aparenta mostrar-se são os pontos principais do trato amoroso que será abordado nas Folhas Caídas. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Almeida Garrett. Poesia. Racionalismo clássico.      ABSTRACT: Folhas Caídas, considered labor besides perfect and complete character romantic of Garrett, bring a jump in relation to the classic poetry; the activation and simplicity in the hour to compose the toward them is typical romantic lines, however the love treated by the author whom it is shown in an experienced existence, something lived and transposed to verses, different of the idealized love and sense of the romantic. Differentiations among a “me” that it is shown and a that pretends exposes them is the main points of the loving treatment that will be approached in the Folhas Caídas. KEYWORDS: Almeida Garrett.
