RESUMO: Cinquenta anos após o Golpe Militar, esse período anti-democrático de nossa história nacional ainda apresenta numerosas lacunas, sobretudo em relação ao destino dos desaparecidos políticos. As marcas herdadas desse período são ainda profundas e incômodas e é desse material que Bernardo Kucinski se vale para escrever K. - Relato de uma Busca (2011). Nesse artigo, iremos propor uma análise desse romance com base no quadro teórico sobre o novo romance histórico e na fenomenologia da memória de Ricœur (2010). Dessa forma, procuraremos compreender como se articulam o plano da vida individual e o plano histórico e os abusos de memória (memória impedida, manipulada e obrigada) decorrentes dessa articulação. Ditadura Militar.        ABSTRACT: Fifth years after the Military Coup, this antidemocratic period still has several gaps, especially regarding the disappeared political activists. The taint of this historic moment has been until now deep and uncomfortable and this is the Bernardo Kucinski's source for writing K. (2011). In this paper, we propose an analysis of this novel based on the theoretical model on the New Historical Novel and Ricœur's phenomenology of memory (2010). We'll seek to understand not only how the historical and the individual level are connected but also the abuses of memory (the constraint memory, the manipulated memory and the obliged memory) resulting from this relation.
