Resumo: Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp.) is an important Fabaceae used as a food source in several countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas. The objective of this research was to evaluate the susceptibility of 15 cowpea genotypes to the attack of green leafhopper Empoasca sp. and serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza sp.). The experiment was conducted at the Experimental Piroás Farm (FEP) of the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (Unilab) from August to October 2018, where the experimental design was used in a randomized block design with fifteen treatments and four repetitions. For the leafhopper, the number of individuals per plant, randomly, in the useful plot, were evaluated once a week for nine weeks. For the mining company, the presence or absence of mines, in the useful and random part, was evaluated over four weeks. The data accumulated on the last date were transformed [(x + 0.5) 1/2] and subjected to analysis of variance, the means being compared by the Scott-Knott test.The genotypes BRS Juruá, BRS Marataoã, Rabo de Soin, BRS Guariba, BR 17 Gurguéia, BRS Xiquexique, BRS Potengi, BRS Aracê, BRS Cauamé, BRS Imponente, BRS Itaim, BRS Tumucumaque and Vita-7 were less susceptible to the attack by Empoasca sp., while BRS Aracê, Rabo de Soin and Vita-7 were less attacked by Liriomyza sp.

El experimento fue conducido en la Hacienda Experimental Piroás (FEP) de la Universidad de Integración Internacional de la Lusofonía Afro-Brasileña (Unilab) de agosto a octubre de 2018, donde el delineamiento experimental fue en bloques al azar con quince tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Para las chicharritas, el número de individuos por planta, al azar, en la porción útil, fue evaluado una vez por semana durante nueve semanas. Para el minador, la presencia o ausencia de minas, en la parte útil y aleatoria, fue evaluada a lo largo de cuatro semanas. Los datos acumulados en la última fecha fueron transformados [(x 0,5) 1/2] y sometidos al análisis de varianza, siendo los promedios comparados por la prueba de Scott-Knott. Los genotipos BRS Juruá, BRS Marataoã, Rabo de Soin, BRS Guariba, BR 17 Gurguéia, BRS Xiquexique, BRS Potengi, BRS Aracê, BRS Cauamé, BRS Imponente, BRS Itaim, BRS Tumucumaque y Vita-7 fueron menos susceptibles al ataque de Empoasca sp., mientras que BRS Aracê, Rabo de Soin y Vita-7 fueron menos atacados por Liriomyza sp.Le niébé (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp.) est une fabacée utilisée comme source de nourriture dans plusieurs pays d'Afrique, d'Asie et des Amériques. L’objectif de cette recherche était d’évaluer la sensibilité de 15 génotypes du niébé à l’attaque de la cicadelle verte (Empoasca sp.) et de la mineuse (Liriomyza sp.). L’expérience a été réalisée à la Ferme expérimentale Piroás (FEP) de l’Université de l’intégration internationale de la lusophonie afro-brésilienne (Unilab), d’août à octobre 2018, où on a employé la conception expérimentale en blocs randomisés, avec quinze traitements et quatre répétitions. Pour la petite cicadelle, on a évalué une fois par semaine pendant neuf semaines le nombre d'individus par plante, de manière aléatoire, dans la parcelle utile. Pour la mineuse, on a mesuré pendant quatre semaines la présence ou l'absence de mines, dans la partie utile et aléatoire. Les données accumulées au dernier échantillon ont été transformées [(x + 0,5)1/2] et soumises à une analyse de variance, les moyennes étant comparées par le test de Scott-Knott. Les génotypes BRS Juruá, BRS Marataoã, Rabo de Soin, BRS Guariba, BR 17 Gurguéia, BRS Xiquexique, BRS Potengi, BRS Aracê, BRS Cauamé, BRS Imponente, BRS Itaim, BRS Tumucumaque et Vita-7 étaient moins sensibles à l'attaque d'Empoasca sp., tandis que BRS Aracê, Rabo de Soin et Vita-7 ont été moins attaqués par Liriomyza sp.O feijão-caupi (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp.) é uma fabácea utilizada como fonte alimentar em diversos países da África, Ásia e Américas. Objetivou-se, com esta pesquisa, avaliar o comportamento de genótipos de feijão-caupi ao ataque de cigarrinha-verde (Empoasca sp.) e de minador (Liriomyza sp.). O experimento foi conduzido na Fazenda Experimental Piroás da Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira (Unilab), nos meses de agosto a outubro de 2018, onde se utilizou o delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, com 15 tratamentos e quatro repetições. Para a cigarrinha, foi avaliado o número de indivíduos por planta na parcela útil, aleatoriamente, uma vez na semana, ao longo de nove semanas. Já para a minadora, foi avaliada a frequência de minas, na parcela útil e ao acaso, ao longo de quatro semanas. Os dados acumulados na última amostragem foram transformados [(x + 0,5)1/2] e submetidos à análise de variância, sendo as médias comparadas pelo teste Scott-Knott.
