Resumo: This article presents the insights of research on the relationship between social intervention and processes of territoriality, deterritoriality, and politicization, conducted in the city of Paraná (Province of Entre Ríos, Argentina). The analysis of social intervention uses a historiographical perspective, based on documents and quantitative reports published by academic institutions and other centers of study and statistics. This article is a qualitative work that describes the operationalization of the key concepts in the empirical data researched, which covered the period of the re-democratization in Argentina, until December 2017. This article is a version of a previous work, revised and extended according to the concepts and the political and social events that have triggered new policy models imposed, since 2015, in most Latin American countries, particularly regarding social policies in Argentina.

Se analiza la intervención social desde una perspectiva historiográfica, tomando documentos e informes cuantitativos publicados por instituciones académicas y otros centros de estudio o estadística. El análisis se propone con un diseño cualitativo, esbozando la operacionalización de los conceptos claves en los datos empíricos que ofrece el caso argentino desde el advenimiento de la democracia hasta el mes de diciembre del año 2017. La presente versión fue revisada y ampliada en función de los conceptos y los acontecimientos políticos y sociales en el transcurrir los nuevos modelos de políticas que se imponen desde 2015 en la mayoría de los países de América Latina, nos ocupan puntualmente las transformaciones en materia de Políticas Sociales que han tenido lugar en Argentina.  Este artigo baseia-se nas indagações realizadas no âmbito do projeto de pesquisa sobre intervenção social e sua relação com os processos de territorialidade, desterritorialidade e politicidade na cidade de Paraná (Província de Entre Ríos, Argentina). Analisa-se a intervenção social desde uma perspectiva historiográfica, tomando documentos e relatórios quantitativos publicados por instituições acadêmicas e outros centros de estudo ou estatística. A análise é proposta com um desenho qualitativo, traçando a operacionalização dos conceitos-chave nos dados empíricos que oferece o caso argentino desde o retorno da democracia até o mês de dezembro de 2017.
