Resumo: | The objective of the study is to analyze from the historical-critical perspective the political practices —whether politicized or depoliticized— of social workers from the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey (AMM), Nuevo León, Mexico, who work in both traditional and emerging areas of intervention. For the research, 9 institutions and 11 social workers were selected; an in-depth interview, a questionnaire on personal and professional training data, an observation guide and a field diary were applied. The results showed that, although the practice of social work has as an ethical-political ideal to contribute to social welfare; this is transformed with the institutions, social policies, the production model and culture, and that the participants and the subjects of intervention share a lack of social protection that is key to the depoliticization of both. |

Revista KatálysisRevista KatálysisRevista Katálysis2021-09-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/79775Revista Katálysis; Vol. 24 No. 3 (2021): Terra, Território e América Latina; 617-629Revista Katálysis; Vol. 24 Núm. 3 (2021): Terra, Território e América Latina; 617-629Revista Katálysis; v. 24 n. 3 (2021): Terra, Território e América Latina; 617-6291982-02591414-4980reponame:Revista Katálysis (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCspahttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/79775/47397Copyright (c) 2021 Magdalena Sepúlveda, Sandra Elizabet Mancinas Espinozainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSoto, Magdalena Sepúlveda Mancinas Espinoza, Sandra Elizabet2021-09-28T18:49:39Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/79775Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/indexPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/oairevistakatalysis@gmail.com || kataly@cse.ufsc.br || revistakatalysis@hotmail.com1982-02591414-4980opendoar:2021-09-28T18:49:39Revista Katálysis (Online) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false |
