Cisgenderness: an analytical category in Brazilian transfeminism

Resumo:  The notion of cisgenderness, as addressed by Brazilian transfeminism, more than marking subjects whose gender identity coincides with the sex assigned at birth, enables us to submit to critical analysis the functioning of the norms that produce the idea of a natural and stable sex. Thus, it isprimarily a question of addressing the ways in which cisgenderness works as a norm, projecting itself as the true expression of sex and organizing the domain of gender intelligibility. This article will aproach how Brazilian transfeminist thinking uses cisgenderness as an analytical category to discuss the ways in which sex/gender are produced through a normative matrix that segregates gender positions into real/artificial, natural/constructed dichotomous modalities

En este artículo, veremos cómo el pensamiento transfeminista brasileño utiliza la cisgeneridad como categoría analítica para discutir el modo como el sexo/género son producidos a través de una matriz normativa que segmenta las posiciones de género en modalidades dicotómicas real/artificial,natural/construido.A noção de cisgeneridade, da maneira como é tematizada pelo transfeminismo brasileiro,mais do que marcar os sujeitos cuja identidade de gênero coincide com o sexo designado nonascimento, permite colocar sob análise crítica o funcionamento das normas que produzem a ideia de um sexo natural e estável. Assim, trata-se, sobretudo, de problematizar as formas por meio das quais a cisgeneridade funciona como norma, projetando-se como expressão verdadeira do sexo e organizando o domínio de inteligibilidade do gênero.
