Resumo: | Having the participation of capeverdean women in the independance movement been greatly concealed in the country since the new state was created, by consulting many archives that were opened to the public and through the realization of interviews, it was possible to identify a much bigger number of women who have actively militated for the independence that what has been divulged until the present date. Having also been possible to rebuild the political trajectories of the ones who joined in the first stage, before the beggining of the armed struggle in Guinea-Bissau in 1963, in the present article we intend to identify the means used either by the portuguese political police as by the PAIGC in order to conceal the presence and participation of the capeverdean women, even before the independence, proclaimed in 1975. |
