Escreva Lola Escreva’s trajectory and resistance

Resumo: In January 2008, when I started my blog, Escreva Lola Escreva (Write Lola Write), I didn’t expect it to be a feminist blog necessarily, but a personal one. After all, it even has my name in thetitle. However, as I have considered myself a feminist since I was eight years old, practically everythingI write has a feminist, inclusive, and in defense of human rights bias. 14 years later, my blog is still alive, and it is always gratifying to hear that a reader began to fight and overcome prejudice after reading my blog. On the other hand, not everything is a bed of roses. It’s been more than 11 years that I have been threatened and attacked by organized groups of misogynists and neonazis, which I nicknamed mascus (short for masculinists). My resistance and my difficulty to register police reports inspired the creation of Lola’s Law, which assigns the Federal Police the mission to investigate misogynist crimes on the internet. This is my experience report. We continue being the resistance.

Después de todo,lleva mi nombre incluso en el título. Sin embargo, como soy feminista desde que tenía ocho años de edad, prácticamente todo lo que escribo lleva un sesgo feminista, de inclusión, en la defensa de los derechos humanos. 14 años después, el blog sigue activo, y es siempre gratificante escuchar una lectora decir que ha pasado a combatir sus propios perjuicios por medio de la lectura del blog. Pero no todo son flores. Hace más de 11 años recibo amenazas y ataques por parte de grupos organizados de misóginos y neo nazistas, los cuales he nombrado “mascus” (una abreviación de“masculinistas”). Mi resistencia y la dificultad en hacer denuncias policiales inspiraron la creación de la Ley Lola, que atribuye a la Policía Federal la investigación de crímenes misóginos en internet. Este es mi relato de experiencia. Afinal, tem até o meu nome no título. Porém, como eu me assumo feminista desde os oito anos de idade, praticamente tudo que escrevo carrega um viés feminista, inclusivo, em defesa dos direitos humanos. 14 anos depois, meu blog continua ativo, e é sempre gratificante ouvir uma leitora ou leitor dizer que passou a combater e superar seus próprios preconceitos por meio da leitura do meu blog. No entanto, nem tudo são flores. Há mais de 11 anos sou ameaçada e atacada por grupos organizados de misóginos e neonazistas, que apelidei de mascus (abreviação de masculinistas). Minha resistência e a dificuldade para fazer boletins de ocorrência inspiraram a criação da Lei Lola, que atribui à Polícia Federal a investigação de crimes misóginos na internet. Este é meu relato de experiência.
