Resumo: This article has the goal of understanding how the brand of gender crosses the early experience of female soccer athletes with the sport. To do so, we adopted a cartography perspective and analyzed the semi-structured interviews made with athletes in formation and of high performance. Despite their age difference, we noted that the dificulties they found to get inserted in the soccer universe are similar and they are still based on stereotyped perceptions about genders.

Para eso, adoptamos la perspectiva de la cartografía y analizamos entrevistas semiestructuradas de deportistas entrenados y de alto rendimiento. A pesar de la diferencia generacional, los resultados arrojaron que las dificultades encontradas para ingresar al universo del fútbol son similares y aún se basan en percepciones estereotipadas sobre los géneros.O presente artigo tem como objetivo compreender de que modo a marca do gênero atravessa a experiência inicial das atletas de futebol com a modalidade. Para tanto, adotamos a perspectiva da cartografia e analisamos entrevistas semiestruturadas feitas com atletas de formação e alto rendimento.
