Resumo: Recognizing the lesbian movement as a political body made up of people and organizations that produce lesbian identities and other counter-hegemonic sexual identities, the purpose of this study is to present theoretical threads of the political currents of the lesbian thought produced in the West, especially in the twentieth century. To this end, we assume bibliographic research as a methodological device, and the result is an open map of the thinking of lesbian activists who are precursors to the field of lesbianism in the West. Here, the ginga, or the gingar, constitutes a metalanguage endowed with recursion and displacements.

Here, the ginga, or the gingar, constitutes a metalanguage endowed with recursion and displacements.Reconociendo el movimiento lésbico como un cuerpo político constituido por personas y organizaciones productoras de identidades sexuales lesbianas y otras contrahegemónicas, el propósito de este estudio es presentar los hilos teóricos de las corrientes políticas del pensamiento lésbico producido en Occidente, especialmente en el siglo XX. Para ello, asumimos la investigación bibliográfica como dispositivo metodológico, y el resultado es un mapa abierto del pensamiento de las activistas lesbianas precursoras del campo del lesbianismo en Occidente. Aquí, ginga, o gingar, se constituye en un metalenguaje dotado de recursividad y desplazamientos.Reconhecendo o movimento de lésbicas como corpo político constituído por pessoas e organizações produtoras de identidades lésbicas e outras identidades sexuais contra-hegemônicas, nosso propósito, neste artigo, é apresentar fios teóricos das correntes políticas do pensamento lésbico produzidos no ocidente, sobretudo no século XX. Para tanto, assumimos a pesquisa bibliográfica como dispositivo metodológico, e o resultado é um mapa em aberto do pensamento de ativistas lésbicas precursoras do campo da lesbianidade no ocidente.
