Resumo: | With this issue, we complete the second year of our journal. Since the very beginning, in 2003, when INTERthesis started to be idealized, its first agents have clearly kept in their minds that their aim was to create an electronic reference room for the community of national and international researchers with interdisciplinary interests in the areas of Studies of Gender, Environment and Society, and Human Condition in Modernity. We are still far from reaching our goals, but we feel honored as we stand before the way we have covered so far. We thank all the authors for trusting us, as well as for the quality of the work sent. This valuable contribution has helped us get closer to our target, and has increased the readers' search for our journal. Luzinete Minella |

Desde el principio, en el 2003, cuando INTERthesis empezó a ser pensada, sus primeros responsables entendieron que su meta era crear un espacio de referencia para la comunidad científica nacional y extranjera, con intereses ínter disciplinares en las áreas de Estudios de Género, Medio Ambiente y Sociedad, y Condición Humana en la Modernidad. Todavía no lo alcanzamos, pero es con honor que miramos el camino perquirido. Agradecemos a los autores que ya colaboraron por su confianza y por la calidad de sus trabajos que nos ayudaron a llegar más cerca de nuestras metas, haciendo con que más gente busque nuestro periódico. Desde o momento inicial, em 2003, quando INTERthesis começou a ser idealizada, seus primeiros responsáveis entenderam que sua meta era criar um espaço de referencia para a comunidade de pesquisadores, nacionais e estrangeiros, com interesses interdisciplinares nas áreas de Estudos de Gênero, Meio Ambiente e Sociedade, e Condição Humana na Modernidade. Estamos longe ainda de ter chegado a isso, mas muito nos honra o caminho até aqui percorrido. Agradecemos a todos os autores que enviaram suas colaborações para nós, pela confiança depositada e pela qualidade de seus trabalhos, que muito nos aproximam de nossa meta, fazendo que nossa revista seja cada vez mais procurada pelos leitores.
