Resumo: In the context of STS studies, this article discusses how bodies and differences are produced through different practices and technologies. In particular, it describes how sexed bodies and sexual dualism are produced and regulated in sports through the articulation of biomedical and communication technologies. We focus on the context of sports because of its sex border feature, which assumes as basic principles the sex segregation and the sexual inequality. The existence of intersexed bodies disrupts the dual order and causes the activation of various measures to discipline the variability and multiplicity of sex into two categories.
