Resumo: | Specimens of were collected from the mesolitoral of Placafor and Itapoã (Salvador, Bahia) sea shores, rarely from the sublitoral. Sixteen species were identified, belonging to Hypneaceae, Rhodymeniaceae, Ceramiaceae e Rhodomelaceae. Hypnea with three species, represented the greatest number of species among those genera studied. Enantiocladia duperreyi (Agardh) Falkenberg was recorded for the first time in Bahian macroalgal flora. |

Foram identificadas 16 espécies. O gênero Hypnea foi o melhor representado com três espécies.
