Resumo: | The objective of this paper was to identify the organizational factors that characterize the innovativeness of a successful organization, in the electro-medical equipments industry. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach, aiming to obtain the vision of equipment manufacturers, about the organizational factors that contribute to the innovation process. The convenience sample comprised 46 electro-medical manufacturers. It was applied a multivariate analysis, the factorial analysis, that indicated the presence of six factors, explaining 80,6% of total variance. The two most representative factors were “liberty and compromise” and “recognition and interaction” which represented, respectively,47% and 9% of total variance. |

The convenience sample comprised 46 electro-medical manufacturers. The two most representative factors were “liberty and compromise” and “recognition and interaction” which represented, respectively,47% and 9% of total variance.O objetivo do presente estudo é o de identificar os fatores organizacionais determinantes para que uma empresa possa ser considerada inovadora na indústria de equipamentos Eletro-Médicos.
