Resumo: In recent years, political theorists, classicists, and philosophers have published monographs, articles, edited volumes, and translations of Roman political thought, part of what was recently identified as a “Roman turn”. Through the analysis of three recent studies (HAMMER, 2014; CONNOLLY, 2015; BLITS, 2014) this article seeks to understand what do the books under review offer political theorists and what directions might studies of Roman thought go in the future.
