Resumo: | The aim of this paper is to contribute to question the exclusive attribution of the origin of modern science, as well as of the introduction and protection of Human Rights, to the Jewish-Christian civilisation. Doing so, we pretend to confront the supposed cultural superiority of this civilisation, used as justification of unacceptable privileges, and cause of destructive conflicts that hinder the necessary transition to sustainable societies, respectful of the ensemble of Universal Human Rights. |
