Resumo: The use of information and communication technologies has shown an effective alternative and relevance to Physics teaching, especially in the current context marked by the pandemic of the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), and that implied in the adaptation of tasks of different natures, as in education. Accordingly, this work aims to discourse the potential of computer simulations, specifically in python and vpython, as resources of development of simulators related to natural phenomena addressed in the study of mechanics. For this purpose, it is presented, firstly, discussions about the topic in question and then the construction logic of these simulators, and prepositional examples for a virtual mechanics laboratory with python and vpython to saliently highlight their multiple productions and use possibilities. This paper seeks to insert teachers in the programming contexto with the development of their own simulators, presenting python and vpython as potentializing tools for the teaching-learning process of Physics at different levels of education.
