Diversity or hegemony of social groups? Women's literature in the archives held by the Archive-Museum of Brazilian Literature of the Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation

Resumo: Recent studies show that, despite the expansion of the publishing market in recent years, the Brazilian literary field is still extremely homogeneous. From an archival point of view, this is reflected, for example, in the reality of the Archive-Museum of Brazilian Literature (AMLB) of the Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation (FCRB), where most archives have male holders. This article aims to map information about the women's literary archives held by AMLB, identifying the profile of the holders of these archives: their origins, profession, race and links with other holders of archives held by the entity. The methodological procedures consisted of data collection, with documental research carried out in the AMLB Collection Guide, complemented with other records available on the institution's website. It was found that the holders of the collections have a very similar profile, that is, they are white women, born, mostly, between the 1930s and 1940s, in southeastern states of Brazil and who worked as journalists throughout their careers. These aspects highlight the need to develop more plural policies, considering not only gender inequalities, but also social, ethnic and cultural diversities.

Desde el punto de vista archivístico, eso se refleja, por ejemplo, en la realidad del Archivo-Museo de Literatura Brasileña (AMLB) de la Fundación Casa de Rui Barbosa (FCRB), donde se custodian colecciones cuyos titulares son mayoritariamente hombres. Este artículo tiene como objetivo mapear información sobre los archivos literarios femeninos en custodia de la AMLB, identificando el perfil de los poseedores de estos fondos: sus orígenes, profesión, raza y vínculos con otros titulares de archivos en custodia de la entidad. Los procedimientos metodológicos consistieron en la recolección de datos, con investigación documental realizada en la Guía del Acervo AMLB, complementada con otros registros disponibles en el sitio web de la institución. Se constató que las poseedoras de las colecciones tienen un perfil muy similar, o sea, son mujeres blancas, en su mayoría nacidas entre las décadas de 1930 y 1940, en estados del sudeste de Brasil, y ejercieron como periodistas a lo largo de su carrera. Estos aspectos resaltan la necesidad de desarrollar políticas de recolección más plurales, considerando no solo las desigualdades de género, sino también las diversidades sociales, étnicas y culturales.Estudos recentes demonstram que, apesar da ampliação do mercado editorial nos últimos anos, o campo literário brasileiro ainda é extremamente homogêneo. Do ponto de vista arquivístico, isso se reflete, por exemplo, na realidade do Arquivo-Museu de Literatura Brasileira (AMLB) da Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa (FCRB), onde são custodiados majoritariamente acervos cujos titulares são do sexo masculino. Este artigo tem como objetivo mapear as informações sobre os arquivos literários femininos custodiados pelo AMLB, identificando o perfil das titulares desses acervos: suas origens, profissão, raça e vínculos com outros titulares de arquivos custodiados pela entidade. Os procedimentos metodológicos consistiram na coleta de dados, com pesquisa documental realizada no Guia do Acervo do AMLB, complementada com outros registros disponibilizados no site da instituição. Constatou-se que as titulares dos acervos têm um perfil bastante semelhante, isto é, são mulheres brancas, nascidas, em sua maioria, entre as décadas de 1930 e 1940, em estados do Sudeste do Brasil, e atuaram como jornalistas ao longo de sua carreira.
