DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF AN ILLUSTRATED DICTIONARY OF LIGHTING COMFORT: PROCESSO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UM DICIONÁRIO ILUSTRADO DE CONFORTO LUMÍNICO

Resumo: Light is an essential element for life, with about 70% of human perception being visual. In addition, it is responsible for a significant portion of the energy consumption of buildings. Given the relevance of the topic, this work aims to develop an illustrated dictionary on light comfort, aimed mainly at students and professionals in architecture, urbanism and civil engineering. As a methodology, firstly, national and international bibliographies on the subject were researched and a list of the hundred entries considered most relevant was made. Each entry received at least three direct citations and one or more images were attributed to help in understanding the description. Subsequently, a photographic survey was made of architectural elements that help in the understanding of expressions about light comfort. At the end, a formatting and organization of the initial layout of the dictionary content was done. Subsequently, we aspire to develop explanatory drawings, of a didactic nature, to improve the understanding of each entry in addition to the description of the terms also in the Spanish language, to serve, in addition to Brazil, the Latin American community.

Además, la luz es responsable de una parte importante del consumo energético de los edificios. Dada la relevancia del tema, este trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar un diccionario ilustrado sobre el confort lumínico, direccionado principalmente a estudiantes y profesionales de arquitectura, urbanismo e ingeniería civil. Como metodología, en primer lugar, se investigó bibliografía nacional e internacional sobre el tema y se elaboró una lista de los cien términos considerados más relevantes. Cada término recibió, al menos, tres citas directas y se asignaron una o más imágenes para ayudar a comprender la descripción. Después, se realizó una búsqueda y selección fotográfica de elementos arquitectónicos que ayudan en la comprensión de expresiones sobre el confort lumínico. Al final, se realizó un formateo y organización de la diagramación gráfica inicial del contenido del diccionario. De este modo, anhelamos desarrollar dibujos explicativos, de carácter didáctico, para potenciar la comprensión de cada término, además de la descripción de los términos en el idioma español, para atender también la comunidad latinoamericana, no solamente a Brasil. A luz é um elemento indispensável para a vida, sendo que cerca de 70% da percepção humana é visual. Além disso, é responsável por uma parcela significativa do consumo energético das edificações. Dada a relevância do tema, este trabalho tem por objetivo desenvolver um dicionário ilustrado sobre conforto lumínico, voltado principalmente aos estudantes e profissionais de arquitetura e urbanismo e engenharia civil. Como metodologia, primeiramente foi pesquisado bibliografias nacionais e internacionais sobre o tema e foi realizada uma listagem dos cem verbetes considerados mais relevantes. Cada verbete recebeu pelo menos três citações diretas e foi atribuída uma ou mais imagem para auxiliar no entendimento da descrição. Posteriormente foi feito um levantamento fotográfico de elementos da arquitetura que auxiliam no entendimento de expressões sobre conforto lumínico. Ao final, foi feita uma formatação e organização da diagramação inicial do conteúdo do dicionário. Posteriormente aspira-se desenvolver desenhos explicativos, de caráter didático, para melhorar a compreensão de cada verbete além da descrição dos termos também na língua espanhola, para atender, além do Brasil, a comunidade latino-americana.
