Resumo: | With the current dynamics and configurations of the urban environment, it is necessary that the built and natural landscape act in a balanced way, guaranteeing environmental quality to the built environment. As squares - the object of this study - provide benefits to urban public life, in addition to linking in the environmental sphere. This article emphasizes, through computational simulations, the contribution of the square to the urban microclimate of a dense urban area. The study has the Bom Pastor Square, located in a densely populated neighborhood in the municipality of Vila Velha-ES. After the bibliographic review, data collection and temperature measurement at the site for a simulation and calibration of the software, in a successive phase, simulations of the square and its perimeter were carried out. These were carried out in the ENVI-met software with the aid of the Leonardo plugin for making the maps. The analyzes evaluated the air temperature and the surface temperature of two scenarios: real and hypothetical scenarios, the latter considers the square as an arid space. The result of the microclimatic simulations associated with a positive contribution of the real scenario of the square - result of green areas and permeable and semipermeable surface coating materials - compared to the arid scenario, filled with impermeable and without vegetation. |
