This edition includes as interviewees the editors of MIX Sustentável: Paulo Cesar Machado Ferroli and Lisiane Ilha Librelotto. Both have dedicated their academic careers to sustainability. As researchers, their academic backgrounds in engineering and applied social sciences have many similarities, especially in the search for more sustainable production alternatives. In this issue, the professor and researcher Lisiane Ilha Librelotto highlights the points in her academic career that led her to work in research-teaching-extension with sustainability. Lisiane Ilha Librelotto, as a civil engineer, concentrates her activities in the building sector, seeking solutions that can lead to the reduction of environmental impacts and management for sustainability. Together, the professors share their trajectory in conducting the Virtuhab Research Group and in other important projects, such as the publishing of Mix Sustentável and the annual promotion of the event ENSUS - Encontro de Sustentabilidade em Projeto (Meeting for Sustainable Projects).
