Resumo: The scientific production of area of Science Education has been expanding and contributes to the analysis of research perspectives in this field. We seek to investigate: which metric profile of Chemistry Teaching in the Brazilian area of Science Education? Our goal was to draw a metric profile of the researches that about Chemistry Teaching, analyzing its insertion in the Brazilian area of Science Education, through articles published in five journals in the area between 1996 and 2018. We used the biblio-scientometric approach as methodology to examine general indicators, authorship-production, content and references. In this sense, it was possible to understand that the subarea of Chemistry Teaching presents growth potential in the number of its publications in the area of Science Education, as well as observing trends that are repeated in other metric studies, such as some authorship indicators, frequency of empirical-practical research, use of educational government document as references and other considerations.

Buscamos investigar: qual perfil métrico do Ensino de Química (EQ) na área brasileira de Educação em Ciências? Com o objetivo de traçar um perfil métrico das pesquisas que destacam o EQ, ao analisar sua inserção na área brasileira de EC, por meio dos artigos publicados em cinco periódicos da área entre 1996 e 2018. Utilizamos como metodologia a abordagem biblio-cienciométrica para examinar indicadores gerais, de autoria-produção, conteúdo e referências.
