Biotechnovoice and gender-dissonance: voice and discourse in agential realism

Resumo: Dialoguing Foucauldian discourse studies, queer/cuir studies, gender studies and new materialisms, the article proposes to address the voice as an agency between discourses and materialities, in any case, an entanglement of human and non-human elements. It is understood that the materiality and agency (i.e. the production of effects) of the voice, which is part of the network of the language aparatus, is particularly productive for the understanding of the phenomenon of intra-action, a concept derived from agential realism. What the article does is, by appropriating the contributions of the studies already mentioned, to propose the concepts of biotechnovoice and gender-dissonance, concerning, at the same time, the intra-active agency of the voice in the materialization of gender and an ethics requested by sexual and gender dissidences.

Se entiende que la materialidad y la agencia (es decir, la producción de efectos) de la voz, que integra la red del dispositivo de lenguaje, es particularmente productiva para la comprensión del fenómeno de la intra-acción, un concepto proveniente del realismo agencial. Lo que hace el artículo es, apropiándose de los aportes de los estudios ya mencionados, proponer los conceptos de biotecnovoz y género-disonancia, relacionados, a su vez, con la agencia intra-activa de la voz en la materialización del género y una ética solicitada por las disidencias sexuales y de género.Dialogando os estudos do discurso de viés foucaultiano, os estudos queer/cuir, os estudos de gênero e os novos materialismos, o artigo propõe-se abordar a voz como um agenciamento (assemblage) entre discursos e materialidades, em todo caso, um emaranhado (entanglement) de elementos humanos e não-humanos. Entende-se que a materialidade e a agência (i.e produção de efeitos) da voz, que integra a rede do dispositivo da linguagem, é particularmente produtiva para a compreensão do fenômeno de intra-ação, conceito oriundo do realismo agencial, à luz dos estudos do discurso.
