Didactic unit based on active methodologies for learning the Spanish Language in Integrated High School

The scenario of transformations experienced today brought the need to rethink the educational context. As a possibility of redefining pedagogical work, active methodologies are an important strategy for today's learners. The purpose of this article is to point out active methodologies as a potential resource for learning Spanish in Integrated High School. To this end, propose a didactic unit as a product of a master's degree investigation in Professional and Technological Education. For theoretical foundation, we used the work of Zabala (1998) on educational practices from the conception of integral formation. The unit was applied in classes of the Integrated Food Technician course at a Federal Institute. In the methodology, a qualitative approach and action research were used as a form of investigation (TRIVIÑOS, 1987; TRIPP, 2005). The results of the application of the unit show that active methodologies are a potential alternative to promote the learning of Spanish as a foreign language in integrated education.
