Resumo: | This article proposes an articulation between language policy and the ethics of care. The following elements underlie our reflection: the political meanings of care, with attention to the concept of ethics of care in its articulation with the feminist criticism and the concept of language; and the implications of these reflections for what we call language policy of care, with a focus on socially situated language practices in Mozambique regarding the political-legislative sphere, the health sphere and the legal-police sphere. We recognize that this political care is crossed by language issues related to: communicative practice, access to information, forms of expression, human rights, social and institutional participation, modes of discursivization and transmission of knowledge. |

Consideramos los siguientes elementos como integradores de nuestra reflexión: los significados políticos del cuidado, con atención al concepto de ética del cuidado en su articulación con la crítica feminista y el concepto de lenguaje; y las implicaciones de estas reflexiones para lo que llamamos políticas de atención lingüística, con un enfoque en las prácticas lingüísticas socialmente situadas en los ámbitos político-legislativo, sanitario, comunicativo y jurídico-policial en Mozambique. Reconocemos que este cuidado político hacia las personas está atravesado por el tema del lenguaje, en términos de: práctica comunicativa, acceso a la información, formas de expresión, derechos humanos, participación social e institucional, discursivización y simbolización del mundo y transmisión del conocimiento.Este artigo propõe uma articulação entre as políticas linguísticas e a ética do cuidado. Consideramos os seguintes elementos como integradores da nossa reflexão: os significados políticos do cuidado, com atenção para o conceito de ética do cuidado em sua articulação com a crítica feminista e o conceito de linguagem; e as implicações dessas reflexões para o que chamamos de políticas linguísticas do cuidado, com enfoque em práticas de linguagem socialmente situadas nas esferas político-legislativa, da saúde, da comunicação e jurídico-policial em Moçambique.
