Resumo: Professor Flávia Luciane Consoni de Mello has stood out for her work in the area of studies on science, technology and innovation, with a path of investigations through the prism of social sciences on topics such as the employment of women in industrial R&D, foreign automakers and the development of technologies in the country, smart cities and local demands, and transitions to the use of electric vehicles in sustainable urban mobility. This path has been transformed into a significant bibliographic production with consequent training of human resources, as well as a set of interdisciplinary academic collaborations and communication actions in attention to the most recent public debate about electric vehicles. He is currently a Full Professor at the Institute of Geosciences at Unicamp (IG/Unicamp), integrating the Graduate Program in Science and Technology Policy, where he created LEVE (Laboratory of Studies on Electric Vehicles). She finished her PhD in Science and Technology Policy at Unicamp in 2004. In this interview, the professor and researcher talks not only about her investigations and collaborations around innovation, but also about the performance of actors in the innovation system, among other topics. The conversation took place on March 14, 2022, by videoconference.

Flávia Luciane Consoni de Mello tem se destacado pela atuação na área de estudos sobre ciência, tecnologia e inovação, com um percurso de investigações pelo prisma das ciências sociais sobre tópicos como, o emprego de mulheres em P&D industrial, as montadoras estrangeiras e o desenvolvimento de tecnologias no País, as cidades inteligentes e as demandas locais, e as transições para o uso de veículos elétricos na mobilidade urbana sustentável. Esse percurso tem se transformado numa expressiva produção bibliográfica com consequente formação de recursos humanos, bem como num conjunto de colaborações acadêmicas interdisciplinares e de ações de comunicação em atenção ao debate público mais recente sobre veículos elétricos. É, hoje, Livre Docente no Instituto de Geociências da Unicamp (IG/Unicamp), integrando o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Política Científica e Tecnológica, onde criou o LEVE (Laboratório de Estudos do Veículo Elétrico). Concluiu seu Doutorado em Política Científica e Tecnológica, na Unicamp, no ano de 2004. Nesta entrevista, a docente e pesquisadora discorre não apenas sobre suas investigações e colaborações em torno da inovação, mas também sobre o desempenho de atores do sistema de inovação, entre outros tópicos.
