Resumo:  This article has the objective of investigate the role of the contemporary intellectual in convergence digital era, from a case study of the fictional character Dilma Bolada (created by Jeferson Monteiro), who makes a fun approach to President Dilma Rousseff. Through content analysis, it was sought to understand, in specific moments of great repercussion, in the first and second mandates of the president of the Republic, if Monteiro behaved as an intellecturat or ideologist (REIS FILHO, 2000). The first concept is attributed to the intellectual who puts himself at the service of a government; and the second concerns the one who is more independent, aware of his convictions.
