Resumo: | The present work intends to approach the question of the health of the Afro-descendant population in Brazil from a genealogical analysis of biomedical science and the notion of race as operators of public policies. Therefore, we seek a narrative of the process of formation of blacks in Brazilian society, of the class dynamics involved, of the notion of risk and danger that result in the formation of public health policies. Through compensatory public policies for people of African descent, especially the National Policy for the Comprehensive Health of the Black Population (PNSIPN), through Ordinance GM / MS No. 992, of May 13, 2009 and data provided by other institutional sources, we discuss the current and the changes in the relationships that perpetuate between biomedical science and structural racism in the health field. |
