Resumo: | The present work aims to make relationships, through three strands of analysis, about the novel neorrealista Fontamara, by the italian Ignazio Silone, focusing more specifically on the modus “sub-living” attributed here to the characters cafoni – peasant class from the Abruzzo region – who act as protagonists of the narrated story. The three strands, or three proposed margins, allow for ongoing crossings, dialogues based on concepts related to biopower and necropolitics, passing through grotesque fulgurations in the novel until ending in a bridge to come between cafoni life - oppressed in its time by an authoritarian and brutal regime, as well as by the historical miserable material condition - and the amerindian perspective defended by Deborah Danowski and Eduardo Viveiros de Castro. |
