Resumo: The urban landscape and the artistic manifestations inserted in the public space offer to the researcher elements capable to raise the reflection concerning the representations of the historical memoirs and about the wrought identities in the town space. In this sense, the present article seeks to analyze the references of the identity materialized in the public spaces of Maringá (PR), privileging some of the artistic productions installed at public roads and squares of the city.
