Resumo: We have as pourpose to demonstrate how Gomes Eanes de Zurara, second chief chronicler of the House of Avis in the fifteenth century Lusitanian, made use of rhetorical procedures in a work of historiography, namely, the Chronicle of Guinea, more specifically in its dedication to Prince D. Henrique.
