Resumo: This article discusses the significance of aulicism and the presence of the nobility palace in the imperial Brazil politics life between 1831 and 1848. Highlight of the Aureliano Coutinho´s facção áulica. Some caracteristics of the group are indicated, its inclusion in offices and its strong presence in government and imperial policy nineteenth.
