Resumo: | This paper turns its attention to the matter that appears when the virtual world turns accessible to most people due to technological advancements, which causes many changes to the way of life and how humanity and art relate among themselves. In this paper, it is discussed about literature, digital literature, cyberculture and literary criticism, dialoging theoretically with Douglas Kellner (2011), Theodor W. Adorno (1971), Walter Benjamin (1987), Manoel Portela (2003) and Everton Vinícius de Santa (2011). The main goal is to reflect what cyberculture is, its literary poetics traces that arise in the virtual world and how the critics tend to deal with this kind of literature in a conservative way when it analyses the virtual literary objects by negating their literary characteristics. |
