Resumo: This article analyzes from the information architecture point of view, based on the user, the website of the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde - BVS, site under BIREME's responsibility. The Information Science is used as a reference, which helps with its user studies and their information needs, to suggest changes and consequently to promote the quality improvement of the final product on the information architecture design of the BVS website.
