Resumo: In this text, we present a report of the activities of LaboMídia/UFS – Media Laboratory and Sports Media Observatory Study Group of Sergipe Federal University. Founded in 2007, it has been consolidating itself, gradually, through its contributions relating to the Physical Education in Sergipe, in the northeast area and throughout all Brazil. The professional educational Physical Education field is constituted as a center axis. With that, the group articulates the formation of teachers with the discussions that involve media and communication in the contemporary society, in special regarding to the critical debate related to Physical Education, sports, leisure and health, as well as the pedagogical possibilities, which are productive and creative in the school environment.

Surgido em 2007, vem se consolidando, paulatinamente, com suas contribuições no âmbito da Educação Física em Sergipe, na região nordeste e no Brasil de modo geral.
