Resumo: http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2016v28n49p82The main objective of this paper was to carry out the first notes of the modality of Judo within the Program “Bolsa-Atleta”. To achieve this intention, we selected the athletes covered with the benefit between the years 2011-2013. These data were provided by the Ministry of Sport, which has gave us information about the athletes contemplated with the benefit during the time frame of the study, and were also taken from the Brazilian Confederation of Judo system. Through this study, it is concluded that judo is a modality that in the Program "Bolsa-Atleta" has a relative balance between men and women and prioritizes the athletes with intermediate levels of performance.

Para lograr este propósito, se seleccionaron los atletas que recibieron el beneficio entre los años 2011-2013. Estos datos fueron proporcionados por el Ministerio del Deporte, que nos facilitó informaciones sobre los atletas contemplados con el beneficio durante la delimitación temporal del estudio, y también fueron retirados del sistema de la Confederación Brasileña de Judo. A través de este estudio se concluye que el judo es una modalidad que en el programa "Bolsa-Atleta" tiene un equilibrio relativo entre hombres y mujeres y da prioridad a los atletas con niveles intermédios rendimiento.O principal objetivo do presente artigo foi realizar os primeiros apontamentos sobre a modalidade de Judô dentro do Programa Bolsa-Atleta. Para alcançar tal intento, foram selecionados os atletas contemplados com o benefício entre os anos de 2011-2013. Estes dados foram fornecidos pelo Ministério do Esporte, que disponibilizou informações sobre os atletas contemplados com o benefício durante o recorte temporal do estudo, e também foram retirados do sistema da Confederação Brasileira de Judô.
