Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the practice of teaching capoeira for children andadolescents of the Center for Complementary Education Itacorubi guided the constructionof revolutionary praxis. As problems arose the question of what is the contribution ofcapoeira as a tool for human evelopment for the revolutionary praxis of students thiseducational area. To answer this problem we set out to build a research analyzing logdata from nearly four years of teaching practice capoeira in this institution in order tomake evident that her may or may not be an instrument of revolutionary praxis.

Como problemática levantou-se a questão de qual é a contribuição da capoeira como instrumento de formação humana para a práxis revolucionária dos educandos e educandas deste espaço educativo.
