Resumo: Founded at the end of nineteenth century, an old colony of Italian immigrants became one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Curitiba-PR. Very famous for its typical food restaurants and wineries, Santa Felicidade is home to two traditional soccer clubs, Sociedade Operária Beneficente Esportiva Iguaçu and Trieste Futebol Clube. This article aims to understand how soccer participated and participates in the (re)construction of the "Italian" identity within the Colony/District Santa Felicidade neighborhood. By theoretical and methodological procedures of the Oral History it was possible to perceive that the analyzed fragments are dealing with social phenomena under construction. Ethnic manifestations such as gastronomy and unique architecture, as well as soccer, show how Italians have built over the years a stereotyped identity within Santa Felicidade

Muy famosa por sus restaurantes de comida típica y bodegas, Santa Felicidade es la sede de dos clubes tradicionales de fútbol, la Sociedade Operária Beneficente Esportiva Iguaçu y el Trieste Futebol Clube. El presente artículo, tiene como objeto entender, cómo el fútbol participó de la (re)construcción de la identidad italiana dentro de Colonia/Barrio Santa Felicidade. Por medio del procedimiento teórico y metodológico de la Historia Oral fue posible percibir que, los fragmentos memorables vistos se tratan de fenómenos sociales en construcción. Las manifestaciones étnicas, como la gastronomía y la arquitectura singular juntamente con el fútbol, muestran cómo los italianos construyeron con el pasar de los años, una identidad, mismo que estereotipada, dentro de Santa Felicidade. Fundada no final do século XIX uma antiga colônia de imigrantes italianos, tornou-se um dos bairros mais tradicionais de Curitiba-PR. Muito famosa pelos seus restaurantes de comida típica e vinícolas, Santa Felicidade é a sede de dois clubes tradicionais de futebol, a Sociedade Operária Beneficente Esportiva Iguaçu e o Trieste Futebol Clube. O presente artigo objetiva entender como o futebol participou(a) da (re)construção da identidade “italiana” dentro da colônia/bairro Santa Felicidade. Por meio dos procedimentos teóricos e metodológicos da História Oral foi possível perceber que os fragmentos memoriais analisados se tratam de fenômenos sociais em construção.
