Human development and tramission of values in instituto compartilhar’s social and sportive projects: the perspective of alumni

http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2017v29n50p31This research objective is to analyze the impact of the participation of children and young people in Instituto Compartilhar’s social and sportive project based on the perception of alumni. An online survey was carried out among alumni of Instituto Compartilhar projects, of which got 738 answers. Based on  the IC former students responses, we found that participation in a project can be rather a possibility of internalization of social values - 90.40% of respondents said they learned values such as teamwork and 88.80% learned about respect during the time in the project - and contribution to the human development of the students involved, with 78% said that the project contributed to its development as a citizen. We also conclude that the methodology used by the IC complies with its goal teaching a sport when we consider that 63% of former students said they learned to play well a sport.
