Resumo: The work examines the image rights of professional footballer. Investigates the natureof the license agreement for use of the image of the athlete and their legal implications,financial and labor from the case involving the attacker Luizão and Sport Club CorinthiansPaulista in 2002. The image rights consists of a license agreement for use of the image ofthe athlete. This allows the exploitation of his image by means of a set of values with theemployer. In practice, the right of the image has been used to circumvent the values ofsocial contributions and tax obligations by parties of clubs and athletes.

O direito de imagem consiste em um contrato de licença para uso da imagem do atleta. Este autoriza a exploração da sua imagem por meio de um ajuste de valores com o clube empregador.
