The heuristic game in Early Childhood Education: an experience report with children from a municipal school

Resumo: In this work the objective was to understand how the Heuristic Game can contribute to the process of caring and educating children in the context of Early Childhood Education. The research was qualitative, conducted with children aged three and four years old, from a Municipal School of Early Childhood Education in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data collection took place through prhotographic and written records. The analysis was based on the principles of content analysis of Bardin (2009). As results, it was understood that it was possible to provide and ensure the right of children to play with what they want and to research according to their interests, providing essential experiences for them to understand the world around them, becoming protagonists of their discoveries in childhood and the pedagogical action of the class teacher involved intentionality, observation and mediation in learning.

A pesquisa foi qualitativa, realizada com crianças de três e quatro anos de idade, de uma Escola Municipal de Educação Infantil de Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de registros fotográficos e escritos. A análise foi com base nos princípios da análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2009).
