Resumo: It was thinking about the many possibilities of living these other times in times of pandemic, that several questions arose: If children are not in early childhood education institutions, where are they? With whom? What are they doing? How are you kidding? How are they reinventing ways of life in times of social isolation? Based on these questions, the group of studies and research in Pedagogies and Children's Cultures (GEPPECI) at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) started a sequence of lives on their Instagram, which culminated in a webinar and materialized in the proposal of this dossier. In an attempt to learn a little about how the different children are living their childhoods in times of a pandemic, we invited several researchers from different regions of Brazil to contribute to this debate. We have gathered here 10 articles that bring a little bit of the multiplicity of experiences lived by Brazilian, Portuguese and Italian childhoods and that help to decolonize the universal and abstract conception of children. We would like this dossier to contribute to decolonize the look to the different Brazilian children who live their experiences in different corners of this country, but who also suffer the cruelties of this system and this necropolitics (MBEMBE, 2018), reacting, subverting, (re) creating others possibilities of stocks and education.
