Palabras clave: Habermas, Teoría crítica, Positivismusstreit, Popper, PeirceAbstract:We seek in this article show how Habermas presented a new horizon in the tradition of Critical Theory from the so-called Positivismusstreit, or complaint of positivism. The aim of Habermas is an adequate critique of scientism without falling into Adorno’s negative ontology or Popper’s theory of scientific truth which needs to think an ontology of reality while dogmatizes the faith of the sciences themselves. The new Critical Theory should think the horizon of scientific praxis considering a critique of the theory of knowledge. For that Habermas seeks to articulate the concepts of context of emergence and context of application of theories for placing the social in a horizon of emancipatory interest of the practice of science. That approach is theoretically reinforced through the pragmatism of Charles Peirce. Keywords: Habermas, Critical Theory, Positivismusstreit, Popper, Peirce |
